Continuing the team’s run of strong results Ben Perry finished 7th in the 2016 Philadelphia International Classic. ‘Philly’ is a legendary race on the US domestic race calendar. The race was aggressive from the outset with every team wanting representation in the initial move. Impressively after an early race crash that left him with a bloody gash over his right eye, Nigel Ellsay made the crucial move along with an ever persistent Matteo Dal Cin.

Masbou and Kris had been on early race duty as well, marking key moves before the large group with Matteo and Nigel got away. with Ben, Alex and Ryan marking moves later in the race. Elliot was floating the race and reserved to provide support to our three ‘finishers’ late in the day.

Team Director – Gord Fraser – was very satisfied and proud of the team and commented that the effort and execution was there. Philly is a tricky finish with a crucial setup to the final time up the ‘wall’ and it can take few tries to develop the experience to get it perfect.
