The latest instalment of #racinglife is a brief video about the gauge: the art of going full throttle at the right time and in the right place–with the right people.

But if you follow our series of instalments, you’ll see that #racinglife is also about living in motels, or getting up at 5 am for photoshoots or the crazy fans watching us race the streets of Vancouver’s Gastown at dusk.

Who know’s where #racinglife will take us? But we want to tell you stories here and on our team’s facebook page about the lives of young riders trying to get to the next level. Many of the pics will be taken by our photographer extraordinaire, Brian Hodes of VeloImages. The video below was made by Leo Zuckerman. But we’ll also be collecting rider pics about chowing down on Chef Shevek’s dinners at the Tour of the Gila, being hosted by Craig and Alan at Redlands Bicycle Classic, seeing family at Nationals, and seeing good friends like Steve West on the road. In fact some of these pics are already up on our Instagram account.

So #racinglife includes podiums, but it’s also about dragging bags through airports or eating in saloons and gas stations. It’s about the smell of massage oil and dirty laundry. And #racinglife is about the sublime landscapes, welcoming towns and slick cities we encounter while racing our bikes across the continent.

Come join us on a journey of podiums, flowers and daily grind. We may just become your new favourite team. #racinglife
